RATING:   ★★★★★

The Danish Girl movie is based on the true story of Lili Elbe, the first ever known recipient of sex reassignment surgery.  It was during this time that being lesbian, or gay, or bisexual is not widely accepted by the people, and such preference considered someone as crazy.

Lili Elbe is being portrayed in the movie by Eddie Redmayne, famously known for his role as Stephen Hawking which makes him grabbed most of the Oscars awards during that time.

The Danish Girl is a heartbreaking story, telling audiences what unconditional love is all about. It breaks the heart of the viewer every time Gerda would talk to Lili reminiscing their life with her then husband Einar (now Lili).  Gerda's unconditional love for Lili is such an awakening part to all people that being different is not a flaw.

Cinematography for this movie is great.  They used mirror shots which are superb. Almost perfect.  Showing the set using the line perspectives and great angle gives a great cinematography of the film.  Production Design and set design for this film is flawless.  You will really think that it's shoot just as the time of 1920's.

Sound scoring is good and precise.  More emotion is being released through the help of sound score especially at the end.

Tom Hooper is already known for his exceptional works, and this will not disappoint anyone.

Eddie Redmayne is a strong opponent for Leonardo DiCaprio in getting the Academy Award in acting this time.  Redmayne might again win Oscars for this film.
